SPOKANE – In this holiday season 2021, Parks and Recreation and its partners are offering a wide variety of festive events and activities to bring joy throughout the New Year.
Take in the glow of the holiday lights at Manito, Riverfront and Cowley Park, glide through the crisp winter air at Numerica Skate Ribbon, shop locally at the Riverfront Winter Market and celebrate the New Year with the return of the New Years fireworks by the river! Plus, enjoy winter leisure activities for the whole family.
âIt has been a difficult time for over 18 months so we will take every opportunity to create some joy and offer something special to the community,â said Garrett Jones, Director of Parks and Recreation. âSpokane is a city that really knows how to celebrate the holiday season, and we have so many spectacular ways to do it this year thanks to our partners and generous donors. ”
