Universal CityWalk Hollywood to remain open with only outdoor restaurant seating to limit the spread of COVID-19

Following yesterday’s announcement that all domestic operations were to be immediately halted in Orange County, the reopening of Universal CityWalk Hollywood has come into question.

By shutting down “indoor operations”, establishments such as restaurants and entertainment venues would be impacted, hence the very core of CityWalk’s business. So how did the announcement affect Universal Studios Hollywood’s downtown entertainment district?

Well, we are happy to report that CityWalk has confirmed that they will continue with “limited operations” but will remain open on their regular schedule from 12pm to 8pm daily. This is good news for visitors to the area, who might otherwise be battling for a fun evening activity under these newly enforced government regulations.

One major issue that had to be addressed, however, is the food service in restaurants. To get around the new restrictions, CityWalk restaurants have indicated that they will still serve their customers, but only outdoor seating will be provided. The bars will not be open.

CityWalk ensures that all updates will be shared on its official website. As always, you can stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today and WDWNT for more details.
